One of her standout achievements is authoring a book titled “Oh! It’s Cancer,” designed to help children aged 8-14 who have been diagnosed with cancer better understand the disease. Over the past 7 years we have developed a global aspiring medics community. We empower our students to initiate and conduct their projects from start to completion. Projects can range from scientific research, public health initiatives, charity or volunteering. Every year we provide a set number of existing projects for students to get involved. Previous students have conducted projects with NHS England, Harvard Medical School, international charities and local public health awareness campaigns.

For The Better
Rosalyn, who received an offer from Cambridge for the 2023 entry, identified a critical gap in school curriculums: the absence of first aid education. Recognising that 140,000 lives could be saved annually in the UK with timely intervention, she launched "First Aid 101," a global initiative to incorporate first aid training into school programs around the world. Her efforts have led to presentations in over 60 schools across three continents, and she continues to expand the movement's reach, advocating for essential first aid knowledge to be a fundamental part of every student's education.

An abstract taken from Prakrit's literature review, where he discusses alternatives to liver transplants, paving the way for and raising awareness of life-saving medical research.
As part of the Medefine community, Prakrit Mittal has made significant contributions to medical research by publishing an article in the Duke Vertices Journal titled "How to Repair a Human Liver." His work focuses on addressing the organ donor shortage by exploring an innovative alternative to liver transplants. Prakrit's research highlights the potential of transforming biliary cells from the gallbladder into functional bile duct cells to repair liver damage. Through this publication, he aims to raise awareness for this potentially life-saving medical research.

See What Students Are Saying About Medefine
After a year at medical school, I am still constantly surprised at just how useful the confidence and skills I developed with Medefine are. The experiences and teaching I
received set me up not just to receive offers but to also succeed within medical school. I am now involved in various healthcare projects and have taken up roles in multiple societies; something I would never have done without support from Medefine.

My experience with Medefine has shown that what they provide goes
beyond what tutoring is. They consistently go above the standard other companies set and teach you how to truly think like a doctor. Not only did I feel prepared to tackle the application process, but I also now feel a lot more confident and prepared for university and my career.

Throughout my experience in the Medefine Academy I was able to
interact with like-minded students and influential, inspiring doctors
which made my overall experience in the program very fruitful. All my experiences with Medefine helped me get a place to study medicine at UAE University. I was also able
to co-organise a national conference with 800+ attendees through the program which was an incredible opportunity that I will forever be grateful for.
